The summary above was generated by AI

We’ve recently launched a no-code tool Nut centered on making AIs great at building complete working applications by writing tests and debugging problems in their apps.  We’re building on our five years of history and unique low-overhead Chromium recorder to deliver a product with incredible capabilities that will greatly expand the capabilities of AI developers…and allow non-developers to create apps from scratch!  We’re a small company and are well funded by Andreessen Horowitz, IA Ventures, Version One, and other investors.  We’re staffing up to best pursue this unique market opportunity.

The Role

AI generated code often needs to be modified to meet the desired goals of an application or may have bugs when applied to various use cases.  As the first Product Manager at the company, you’ll work directly with our CEO/founder to develop our product strategy and market fit, and build user growth and engagement.   Work with our Engineering team and our user community to advance our technology using AI that allows software developers to write better, more efficient and bug free code…and for non-developers to create apps to meet their needs.

Responsibilities
  • Work with early users to understand their needs and desires for a code generation and debugging tool

  • Design improvements to the user experience and work with our Engineering team on implementation.

  • Grow and track the user base, levels of user engagement and spread awareness of the company and product

  • Research the market to ensure we have the optimal product market fit

Your Expertise
  • You have a track record of 5+ years as a Product Manager managing 0-1 product launches successfully, ideally with new technology products

  • Demonstrated focus on growing the user base is a must

  • Experience working with early product adopters to obtain feedback and increase user engagement

  • Expertise with new product strategy that ensures optimal product market fit is highly desired

  • Proven success in building company brand and product awareness is essential

  • Experience working with customers and internal engineering teams to improve core product features and capabilities is also required

  • Passionate about enabling great user experiences for both developers and non-developer communities

  • Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills along with the ability to work well within engineering and other teams cross functionally

  • Strong project management skills

  • Experience working with TypeScript and React applications for non or semi technical users is highly desired

  • Experience building apps through natural language and/or AI is a plus

About Us

We are a fully remote company and this position is open to anyone regardless of location, but we are US based and mainly work during US hours.

Engineering/Technology Culture

Our culture is organized around several key values.

  • Respect: Respect for you and for each other is crucial. We do our best work when we deeply understand the problems we’re working on, have ownership over the pieces of the system we’re building, and have the freedom and flexibility to improve them as needed.

  • Efficiency: As a small company we follow best practices around CI/CD and have a well organized architecture to ensure we can move quickly. A key part of efficient development is a close relationship with our users, to make sure we’re staying on the right track.

  • Supportiveness: Being fully remote it’s important to avoid siloing and make sure we’re working closely together and supporting each other. Work days are organized around a team-wide daily sync and then breakout discussions (live or on discord) to help each other with any issues we’re running into.

  • Clarity: A clear vision, direction, and well organized plan are essential for making progress. While our plan will evolve over time as we learn more from our users and partners, at all times we communicate what we’re learning and why any changes are being made.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary and equity

  • 20 days PTO

  • If you’re in the US, top notch health insurance for medical, dental, and vision.

  • Generous equipment, software, and office furniture budget.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
