The Senior SQA Engineer will design, build, and maintain automation tooling, ensuring high quality for warehouse robots and mentoring lower-level engineers.
As a Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Automation / Manual test Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain automation tooling and test to deliver high quality robots.In this role, you have the opportunity to:
- Play a role in building some of the most sophisticated warehouse robots on the planet
- Work with developers to make sure new features are reliable and will delight customers
- Work with developers and engineers to understand feature requirements and anticipated uses
- Improve overall product quality via manual/automated testing, including writing new test cases
- Extend and improve automated test infrastructure to catch regressions more quickly and more reliably
- Maintain automation sprint, create automation tasks.
- Assign tasks and mentor lower level SQA automation engineers.
- Developing, validating, and documenting new concepts and technologies test protocols.
- Identifying and taking ownership of areas to make the test framework more flexible and reusable
- Working with various Development teams to understand new robotic software features and create test plans and automation requirements
- Working with the DevOps team to build automation infrastructure that integrates with existing development practices/needs
- At least 7 years experience in an Product testing role
- Testing and debugging distributed systems in a Linux environment
- Networking knowledge tcp/ip dns, dhcp etc.
- You have hands-on experience writing automation tests against embedded software
- Hands-on experience in Python or other programming language
- Hands-on experience writing Bash scripts
- Exposure to Appium/Selenium or other Web UI automation tools
- Hands-on experience with CICD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, BuildKite, or similar tools
- Ability to translate customer use cases to repeatable test procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication to create reports and develop procedures
- BS/MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Experience Web UI testing
- Have worked in Agile development environments
