The Senior Specialist in Learning Technology & Analytics is responsible for administering Wesco's LMS, optimizing the learner experience, managing content deployment, and supporting L&D initiatives using analytics tools.
As the Senior Specialist - Learning Technology & Analytics, you will play a critical role in administering and optimizing Wesco’s LMS, with a primary focus on Cornerstone OnDemand, as well as other technology that give our employees the tools they need to achieve business results. This role is ideal for a skilled Cornerstone Administrator who can manage system configurations, content deployment, and ongoing enhancements that improve the learner experience and business outcomes. You will also support broader L&D initiatives through the use of learning technologies and analytics tools.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the course catalog (e.g. create courses in the system, schedule sessions/classes, test and load course material, attach course evaluations, create curricula)
- Perform advanced LMS tasks (e.g. curricula management, role based access control, custom reports, data feed management)
- Troubleshoot end-user issues
- Design and run reports and perform basic analytics tasks
- Create and deliver end-user training (e.g. instructors, regional training contacts, and others)
- Manage rosters and granting completions as needed
- Implement new learning technology
- Additional learning and development tasks as needed (e.g. make simple edits to a recorded webinar, add a test, and load it as a course into the LMS)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree – Information Technology, Computer Science, HR Systems, Data Analytics required; Master's Degree preferred
- 6+ years of current experience as an LMS Administrator (or equivalent role)
- 6+ years of current experience with reporting and analytics
- Demonstrated experience administering Cornerstone OnDemand; platform certifications preferred
- Ability to create course evaluations/surveys/tests and corresponding reporting
- Ability to create end-user training (e.g. job aids, webinars)
- Mastery of Excel
- Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Cornerstone LMS reporting and Power BI preferred
- Knowledge of data visualization and audio/video editing preferred
- Ability to travel 0 to 10%
