Job Description

Purpose

The Senior Sourcing Specialist will execute sourcing strategies for critical roles across the Allergan Aesthetics, and AbbVie company commercial function and lead the delivery of external talent insights & market intelligence projects to inform hiring and wider talent attraction strategies. You will act as an advisor, using market analysis and industry research to inform sourcing strategies that enable future capability building and influence stakeholders to act proactively regarding their current/future talent mix and market availability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic sourcing support on critical open roles. Serve as a sourcing leader and insights expert, leveraging research & data analysis techniques to provide recommendations to business leaders, Recruiters, and Business HR.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to build talent pipelines ahead of gaps/vacancies. Will develop sourcing strategies that will target critical, high-level talent in highly competitive and challenging markets.
  • Expertise to identify, evaluate, and manage proactive end-to-end sourcing plans, position specific sourcing strategies, initiatives and tactics including networking/relationship building, internet job boards, database mining, referrals, professional outreach, and advanced sourcing techniques.
  • Conduct thorough candidate prescreening and facilitate presentation to hiring managers and recruiting team using various Talent Acquisition platforms to maintain/retain accuracy, quality, and integrity of data.
  • Nurture Professional pipelines by keeping talent engaged as roles are posted and provide information regarding available opportunities.
  • Build trust and strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, Recruiters, Total Rewards, and Talent Development, and Business HR to understand the key roles and challenges to overcome to secure top talent.
  • Lead on the development and presentation of external talent insights to the business to address challenges, support recruitment planning and inform talent strategy across Commercial.
  • Developing deep expertise and seeking continuous learning in-focus area, with the ability to understand and speak in detail about functions, culture, and role responsibilities and showcase AbbVie’s Employee Value Proposition.
  • Gather data around competition and market conditions or trends that may impact on our ability to find and hire the right talent.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a dedicated in-house sourcing role or retained search role.
  • Talent sourcing experience in the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred. Prior experience sourcing for Commercial roles/functions advantageous.
  • Strong experience in successful screening; initial contact, prescreening, and interviewing.
  • Experience in full end-to-end recruitment process, inclusive of passive candidate outreach is required.
  • Experienced in developing & executing on proactive recruiting strategies including confidential searches.
  • Strong accountability and proactivity, demonstrating a consistent track record of results, often in the face of challenges or obstacles.
  • Proficient in using CRM to enhance sourcing and candidate management processes. i.e. (SmartRecruiters, ICIMS, Phenom).
  • Proficient in Excel, reporting and data quality.
