Job Title: Solutions Engineer
Employment Status: Full-time 
Office Hours: Monday - Friday; hybrid schedule
Location: Boston, Massachusetts 
Salary: $128,000 - $148,000 base + variable + equity options
*compensation may be negotiated based on experience level

As a Solutions Engineer at Ketryx, you will play a critical individual contributor role focused on technical engagement with large enterprise customers. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers throughout the sales cycle, leading deep technical discovery, tailored demos, and proof-of-concepts that demonstrate how Ketryx fits into modern DevOps environments while meeting strict regulatory requirements. Our ideal candidates will have demonstrated previous results in a fast-paced and demanding atmosphere. Someone who is a self-starter and eager to contribute new ideas and strategies in a fast-growing startup will do well in this position. In this role, you will be allowed the opportunity to implement your target-driven work ethic and support Ketryx's mission to impact 100 million patient lives by 2030. This position will be based in our Cambridge, MA office. Responsibilities:

Technical Discovery & Solution Design

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise prospects, uncovering business challenges and mapping them to Ketryx’s platform capabilities.
  • Design tailored solutions and proofs-of-value that demonstrate measurable impact.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on DevOps practices and software development in regulated environments.

Demonstrations & Value Mapping

  • Prepare and deliver tailored demonstrations of Ketryx’s platform, aligning key features with customer pain points.

Sales Partnership & Customer Engagement

  • Collaborate with sales teams to shape proposals that highlight Ketryx’s value: faster releases, higher software quality, and continuous inspection readiness.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact during evaluation and implementation phases.
  • Address customer questions around integrations, security, validation, and compliance.

Industry Expertise

  • Stay current on industry regulations, development practices, and competitor capabilities.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales engineering, technical consulting, or customer success, preferably with enterprise clients.
  • Deep understanding of software development workflows, DevOps toolchains, and Application Lifecycle Management.
  • Familiarity with life sciences regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA) and software validation requirements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with various DevTools and understanding of their role in the software development process.
  • Willingness to travel.

Preferred Skills:
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-paced settings.
  • Prior experience in technical product software, especially in the life sciences space.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Previous startup experience.
