Job Description

CyberArk is looking for an experienced and motivated Solutions Engineer with a passion for cloud native and DevOps applications and pipelines. This engineer will work closely with our sales team and ultimately be responsible for the technical “win” during the sales cycle. The SE Specialist must demonstrate value during presentations, articulate technical challenges, pair with CyberArk solutions, and provide technical knowledge and experience to earn customer trust.

CyberArk Secrets Manager (SM) helps organizations manage secrets and passwords across their third party and home-grown applications and application pipelines.

CyberArk Solutions Engineers work with the sales organization and are responsible for establishing the value of CyberArk products to prospective and current customers through demos, presentations, meetings, and proofs of concepts (POCs). Solutions Engineers also help to create successful and happy customers by building relationships and technical trust with customers. The SE is seen internally and externally as a technical expert on CyberArk products, as well as an industry expert in identity and secrets management.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations to create excitement around CyberArk technology. Use your knowledge of DevOps concepts to understand and align with customer needs, matching their problems with CyberArk solutions.
  • Plan and execute POC evaluations of CyberArk products with prospective customers. Use your sales experience to position CyberArk’s value and differentiators to acquire the technical win.
  • Document customer interactions in Salesforce.
  • Collect and deliver constant feedback to CyberArk’s product management team to influence product direction and champion the voice of your customers.
  • Earn customer trust by demonstrating expertise in application secrets management.
  • Present and evangelize during tradeshows and customer events

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge (5+ years) of DevOps related technology – i.e., containerization/container orchestration, config management, CI/CD, etc. Fluent with the SDLC and agile build methodologies.
  • Strong presentation skills and professional demeanor. Ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • An understanding of security concepts and the development of security roles within organizations that meet functional, technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment; adaptable.
  • Travel as needed (<50%).
  • Experience navigating enterprise scale sales cycles preferred.
  • Development experience (Go, Python, Ruby, Java) preferred.

The salary range for this position is $119,000 – $175,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
