About Magical

Our agentic AI platform brings "AI employees" into the workplace to take over the repetitive, soul-crushing workflows that slow teams down. The result: organizations move faster, with sharper focus, and deliver better outcomes where it matters most, like improving patient care.

The shift to agentic work is inevitable, and we’re leading it. As a founding member of our team you’ll be shaping the playbook for the future of work alongside a small, relentless team pushing the edge of what’s possible with AI.

We're backed by the investors behind OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, and Notion, including Greylock, Coatue, Altman Capital and Lightspeed. The runway is long. The ambition is high. And the market is wide open.

About the role

As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you’ll sit at the intersection of our Sales & Deployment teams. You’ll help us win deals faster by bringing deep workflow credibility into the sales process, and help us deploy with confidence by partnering closely with customers and our deployment team after the sale.

This is a hybrid pre-sales and post-sales role for someone who can go deep in both provider revenue cycle management and payer-side operational workflows. You’ll support discovery, scoping, workflow design, ROI modeling, implementation planning, and agent verification. You’ll become a trusted advisor to prospects and customers alike, especially to operational teams who want to know whether we truly understand how their work gets done.

You will:

  • Partner with AEs during the sales cycle to lead discovery, shape workflow scope, support ROI calculations, and build credibility with prospects.

  • Become a trusted advisor to operational stakeholders, especially across provider revenue cycle, prior authorization, claims, denials, utilization management, and adjacent back-office workflows.

  • Go deep on current-state workflows, edge cases, escalations, handoffs, and exception handling so we can scope opportunities accurately and sell with confidence.

  • Help customers and prospects understand how agentic automation can work in production in their environment, balancing vision with operational realism.

  • Support deployment teams post-sale with workflow design, implementation planning, validation, and customer conversations.

  • Work alongside Deployment Strategists and Deployment Engineers to ensure requirements are gathered thoughtfully and that workflow nuances are surfaced early.

  • Reduce avoidable back-and-forth by bringing domain context into customer conversations and helping the team ask sharper, more informed questions.

  • Support agent verification by manually reviewing outputs, identifying gaps, and helping determine whether automations are behaving correctly in real-world scenarios.

  • Partner with GTM and Deployment to create a tighter feedback loop between what is sold and what is deployed.

  • Codify the playbook: help build repeatable approaches for discovery, scoping, workflow validation, ROI framing, and verification so we get faster and sharper over time.

  • You’ll work side-by-side with our AE team, Deployment Strategists, and Deployment Engineers, typically supporting multiple customer opportunities and implementations at once.

About you
  • You have 4–8+ years of experience in roles like solutions consulting, implementation consulting, solutions architecture, workflow consulting, operational consulting, or similar in healthcare, enterprise software, or services.

  • You have real depth in provider revenue cycle management and/or payer operational workflows, and can speak credibly about how work gets done on the ground.

  • You’ve worked closely with workflows like prior authorization, claims, denials, eligibility, utilization management, claims adjudication and editing, overpayment and recovery workflows, provider data management, member services, care management, or health plan back-office operations.

  • You’re excellent at building trust with customers — from frontline operators to senior leaders — and know how to ask the right questions to uncover what actually matters.

  • You’re comfortable in both pre-sales and post-sales environments: you can help shape a deal, then stay close enough to the implementation to ensure it lands well.

  • You’re highly structured and analytical: you can take a messy workflow, identify the core path and edge cases, and translate it into a clear implementation plan.

  • You’re comfortable with ROI framing and can connect operational pain points to measurable business value.

  • You work well cross-functionally and know how to partner with AEs, Deployment, Product, and Engineering without creating drag.

  • You thrive in early-stage chaos: you want to help write the playbook, not inherit a finished one.

  • You have a strong bias to action and are willing to do the detailed work required to help us close faster and deploy with confidence.

  • Bonus: experience working across both provider and payer organizations; experience with AI, automation, or RPA is a plus, not a requirement.

What we offer
  • A chance to be an early team member at a fast-growing, ambitious company

  • The opportunity to push the boundaries of what’s possible with AI

  • A modern stack and the latest tools to do your best work

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Fun team offsites, past trips include Iceland, Lisbon, Cancun, and Costa Rica
