Team (Project) Introduction

9th Way Insignia has an opening for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our team. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will serve as the technical lead across business development, capture, and proposal solutioning activities. You’ll bring a broad understanding of enterprise IT, federal acquisition priorities, and emerging technologies to craft compelling, compliant, and cost-effective solutions for government customers. This role balances strategy and execution — shaping solutions that are innovative, realistic, and aligned to mission needs. Experience with ServiceNow and enterprise platforms is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead solution design for complex federal opportunities, ensuring integration of people, processes, and technology.
  • Collaborate with business development, capture, and proposal teams to identify customer challenges and translate them into differentiated solutions.
  • Guide solutioning workshops, discovery sessions, and technical proposal development.
  • Develop architectures spanning cloud, DevSecOps, ServiceNow, cybersecurity, and analytics.
  • Stay ahead of technology trends (e.g., Zero Trust, automation, AI/ML, data engineering) and apply them to government use cases.
  • Create high-quality artifacts (white papers, demos, proposal sections, presentations, solution graphics).
  • Assess internal and partner capabilities, define solution gaps, and shape teaming approaches.
  • Mentor junior solution architects and engineers in solution development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years’ experience in enterprise IT solutioning, architecture, or consulting, with federal government focus.
  • Demonstrated success leading technical solutions on proposals or large-scale IT programs.
  • Broad expertise across enterprise IT (cloud, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, ServiceNow, data platforms, SaaS/PaaS).
  • Certifications such as AWS, Azure, ITIL, CISSP, or ServiceNow Architect/Admin are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills; able to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Salary Range
$103,060$150,000 USD

9th Way Insignia’s range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
