The Opportunity
As a Solutions Architect, you will play an essential role on Akkio’s Customer Engineering team, responsible for technical solution development to directly enable revenue growth and successful product implementations for our current and future customers.
What You'll Do
Alongside Solutions Engineers and Customer Success Managers, this role is primarily responsible for the success of pre-sales Proofs-of-Concept (PoCs) and support of post-sales implementation to Customer production.
Specifically, you will spend time in 3 key areas:
- Demo Engineering - Customization & configuration of Akkio’s core product to demonstrate value for enterprise-level prospect needs, data structures, and technical environments.
- Data Engineering - Building core utilities to automate data ingestion and pipelining into the Akkio platform
- Pre-Sales Technical Implementation - Guide customers through architecting scalable solutions in the Akkio platform to designing and executing on PoCs for key accounts
Who You Are
- 5+ years in data science, technical consulting, solutions engineering or similar roles, preferably with a technical product.
- An understanding of the demands of pre-sales roles within a successful AI startup growing from Series A.
- Demonstrated capability & comfort across any tasks typically expected in customer-facing technical pre- or post-sales roles, including enterprise C-Level demonstrations and on-site presentations.
- Day-to-day comfort with hands-on data engineering in BigQuery, DataBricks, and Snowflake, as well as hands-on with SQL.
- Day-to-day comfort with hands-on python or similar usage to self-serve in completion technical tasks in Demo & Data Engineering.
- Experience with LLMs and RAG architectures
- Comfort with up to 25% travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry experience in working with advertising and marketing agencies
- Experience in software development
- Experience designing solutions for hybrid and multi-cloud environments
Additional Information
- Location: Remote-first company with no central office location. This position is fully remote but we prefer the candidate to be based in NYC.
- Compensation: Competitive salary range of $175,000-$200,000 depending on experience, plus substantial equity grants
