JOB DUTIES: LEAD THE TECHNICAL DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE OF LARGE-SCALE, COMPLEX PRODUCT FEATURES, ENSURING ALIGNMENT WITH COMPANY GOALS AND CUSTOMER NEEDS. EVALUATE AND MAKE CRITICAL TRADE-OFFS BETWEEN CORRECTNESS, ROBUSTNESS, PERFORMANCE, SCALABILITY, AND MAINTAINABILITY TO BUILD SUSTAINABLE AND EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS. ESTABLISH AND CHAMPION ENGINEERING STANDARDS TO ENSURE LONG TERM SYSTEM HEALTH AND INNOVATION. COLLABORATE CLOSELY WITH PRODUCT MANAGEMENT, DESIGN, AND ENGINEERING TEAMS TO INFLUENCE PRODUCT STRATEGY AND DRIVE TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE. ACT AS A TECHNICAL POINT OF CONTACT ACROSS TEAMS, FACILITATING ALIGNMENT AND REMOVING BLOCKERS TO DELIVER IMPACTFUL SOLUTIONS. COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH NON-TECHNICAL STAKEHOLDERS TO ALIGN PRIORITIES AND TRANSLATE BUSINESS NEEDS INTO ACTIONABLE TECHNICAL DELIVERABLES. TAKE OWNERSHIP OF SYSTEM RELIABILITY AND OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE BY DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING ROBUST MONITORING, ALERTING, AND LOGGING SOLUTIONS. OPTIMIZE DEPLOYMENT PIPELINES AND OPERATIONAL PROCESSES TO SUPPORT CONTINUOUS DELIVERY AND MINIMIZE PRODUCTION ISSUES. PROACTIVELY ADDRESS PRODUCTION CHALLENGES, ENSURING SYSTEMS ARE DESIGNED FOR SCALABILITY, FAULT TOLERANCE, AND EASE OF MAINTENANCE. MENTOR AND ELEVATE THE SKILLS OF TEAM MEMBERS BY SHARING TECHNICAL EXPERTISE, FOSTERING A CULTURE OF COLLABORATION, AND ENABLING THEIR PROFESSIONAL GROWTH. PROVIDE GUIDANCE TO JUNIOR ENGINEERS, ENSURING BEST PRACTICES IN TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION AND DECISION-MAKING. DELIVER SECURE, RELIABLE, MAINTAINABLE, AND WELL-TESTED CODE, ADHERING TO INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES WHILE KEEPING CUSTOMER NEEDS AT THE FOREFRONT. CONDUCT THOROUGH CODE REVIEWS AND CONTRIBUTE TO DETAILED TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION TO MAINTAIN HIGH-QUALITY ENGINEERING STANDARDS. TACKLE COMPLEX BUG FIXES WITH A FOCUS ON SECURITY, PERFORMANCE, AND RELIABILITY.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, SOFTWARE ENGINEERING, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING OR A RELATED FIELD OF STUDY.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: FIVE (5) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE ENTERPRISE LANDSCAPE, DEMONSTRATING AN UNDERSTANDING OF COMPLEX BUSINESS PROCESSES AND SOLUTIONS TAILORED TO LARGESCALE ORGANIZATIONS; COLLABORATING WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS, INCLUDING PRODUCT, DESIGN, AND ENGINEERING, TO DELIVER IMPACTFUL SOLUTIONS; LEADING TECHNICAL DESIGNS AND ARCHITECTURE DISCUSSIONS FOR LARGE-SCALE PROJECTS INCLUDING FIVE (5) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DESIGNING, DEVELOPING, AND MAINTAINING SERVER-SIDE SOFTWARE USING OBJECT-ORIENTED PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES LIKE JAVA OR SCALA; BUILDING AND MAINTAINING SCALABLE MICROSERVICES USING SPRING BOOT; WORKING WITH RELATIONAL DATABASE TECHNOLOGIES LIKE POSTGRESQL, MYSQL, OR MARIADB; DEVELOPING AND INTEGRATING REST APIS IN LARGE-SCALE SYSTEMS; ESTABLISHING, MONITORING AND VISUALIZING SYSTEM PERFORMANCE AND METRICS USING TOOLS LIKE GRAFANA, SPLUNK OR ELK; INCLUDING FIVE (5) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH MODERN TESTING FRAMEWORKS SUCH AS SELENIUM, CYPRESS, OR CUCUMBER; WRITING AND OPTIMIZING BATCH AND STREAMING DATA PROCESSING JOBS USING APACHE SPARK OR APACHE FLINK; CONDUCTING A/B TESTING, FRONT-END ARCHITECTURE AND DATA-DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT, MENTORING AND PROVIDING TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP TO TEAM MEMBERS; TWO (2) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH NOSQL TECHNOLOGIES SUCH AS DYNAMODB, HBASE, OR PHOENIX AND DEVELOPING AND INTEGRATING WITH FRONTEND APPLICATIONS BUILT USING TECHNOLOGIES LIKE NODEJS AND ANGULAR.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: MUST PASS TECHNICAL INTERVIEW.
OFFERED WAGE: $206,315.00 - $235,000.00 PER YEAR
