Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Minimum 4+ years of overall experience in the IT industry
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with secure DevOps and deployment automation to VM and cloud environments
- Should be aware of standard DevOps principles and practices.
- Must have worked and should have a clear understanding of version control systems like GIT.
- Must have good experience build and release project.
- Setting up DevOps Pipelines for SDLC & provisioning needs.
- Provide design and work on automations for application onboarding.
- Must know at least one packaging tool like Maven, Gradle. Having knowledge with Gradle is an added advantage.
- Must have worked on tomcat, Java & Python based applications
- Must know at least one CICD tool (like Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Harness) Helm charts
- Understanding of branching and deployment strategies
- Must have worked on cloud and Kubernetes. Preferably GCP with terraform
- Should be comfortable in developing automations using scripting like Bash, Python
- Lead the Release Engineering activities.
- Expertise in one of the cloud technologies - GCP/Azure to onboard applications and services seamlessly
- Build Self-service automated solutions for the customers.
- Create automated scripts for reporting and monitoring.
- Collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks for seamless development.
- Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
- Implementing and maintaining version control systems, configuration management tools, and other DevOps-related technologies.
- Designing and implementing automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
- Focus on implementing, and maintaining the underlying cloud infrastructure, such as virtual machines, storage, etc.,
- Works on integrating cloud-based systems with existing on-premises infrastructure and ensuring seamless data transfer between the two environments.
