Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

· Design and develop API/services supporting new feature development in Onshape Drawings module.

· Work in agile environment, collaborate with stakeholders to define feature requirements and refine future backlog

· Drive continued improvement in code quality through detailed and collaborative code reviews

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams in investigating customer issues and provide appropriate solutions

Skills and Knowledge

· Good understanding of Java/C++ and modern design patterns

· Comfortable developing with cloud technologies

· Experience designing and building scalable and resilient SaaS services

· A passion for writing clean, testable, and scalable code

· Knowledge of Java and Spring frameworks

Experience:

· Experience designing & implementing RESTful APIs

· Experience building and running highly scalable services in production environments

· Experience with full-stack development

· Experience in programming of math algorithms / computational geometry or background in mechanical 3D design is an advantage.

· Experience in CAD/PLM software product development is an advantage.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

· 5+ years of experience in programming and software engineering

· Due to work with GovCloud, U.S. citizenship is required

· Excellent communication
