Paradigm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our client, a global leader in the legal services industry. This role will focus primarily on hands-on development of high-volume, mission-critical web applications using C#/.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, AngularJS, and SQL Server.
The Senior Software Engineer participates throughout the software development lifecycle, contributes to technical design and architecture decisions, and serves as a technical resource and mentor to other developers. This position will also collaborate closely with department leadership, analysts, and business teams to translate requirements into reliable, scalable software solutions.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle using Agile/Scrum methodologies, including requirements analysis, software design, prototyping, development, debugging, testing, and production support.
- Design, develop, debug, test, and deliver scalable enterprise web applications.
- Participate in technical design and implementation decisions.
- Identify and proactively raise concerns when requirements or specifications may negatively affect software quality, system performance, scalability, or architecture.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional team members.
- Troubleshoot complex application and technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Take a self-directed, proactive approach to problem-solving and software development.
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor to other software engineers.
- Contribute technical expertise and best practices to improve application quality, maintainability, and performance.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience using C#/.NET.
- 3+ years of experience developing web applications using ASP.NET.
- Experience developing multi-tier applications or components for high-volume systems.
- Strong experience with SQL Server.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum software development environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience mentoring developers and/or providing technical leadership.
- Prior experience leading or supporting software development teams.
The following experience is highly desirable:
- ASP.NET MVC
- ASP.NET Web API
- Entity Framework
- AngularJS or a similar client-side JavaScript framework
- Load-balancing technologies
- Development of high-volume, mission-critical enterprise applications
