Description

As a member of the Verily Test Infrastructure team, you will build robust, reliable, and reusable infrastructure that powers test automation across all Verily products.

Our work plays a critical role in accelerating the software development lifecycle by enabling teams to release high-quality products with greater velocity. We design and maintain scalable test platforms that are foundational to engineering productivity, supporting teams in delivering innovative solutions with confidence and consistency.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain reliable test infrastructure, tools, and services that support continuous integration and automated testing across Verily teams.

  • Contribute to developing automated test frameworks and assist in integrating AI/LLM-based tooling to improve test generation and code quality.

  • Troubleshoot issues in test environments, analyze root causes, and implement improvements to enhance stability and developer productivity.

  • Collaborate with product engineering teams to embed automated testing into their workflows and ensure test systems support their feature delivery needs

  • Apply and uphold testing best practices, contributing to shared standards and documentation that improve consistency across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience), with a strong passion for building test frameworks and infrastructure that drive high product quality.

  • 2+ years of professional experience developing reliable, scalable, and secure production systems. Focused on building test infrastructure for cloud-based applications is a plus.

  • Strong programming skills and deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design in at least one general-purpose language such as Go(preferred), Java, or C++.

  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure also valuable).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cloud deployment technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or related tools.

  • Experience with microservices, software delivery platforms, DevOps, continuous integration, and release management processes.

  • Experience integrating AI/LLM technologies into test infrastructure—such as using LLMs for automated test case generation, intelligent debugging, or enhancing test coverage analysis.

  • Mobile test infrastructure experience is a plus

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000 - $150,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
