We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a robust blend of extensive Salesforce expertise and a good exposure to Full Stack. This role demands very strong Salesforce skills, including proficiency in Lightning Web Components, along with a solid understanding of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. Collaborating with the Salesforce / Full Stack Product Manager and other stakeholders, you will lead the implementation of end-to-end solutions for OPENLANE. You will join a highly collaborative team, playing a critical role in responding to user inquiries, troubleshooting technical and functional support issues, developing scripts, managing data loads, reviewing data quality, and providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders on new Salesforce features and functionality.

You Will:
Manage the technical aspects of application development and design solutions using salesforce, Retool, Java script, HTML, CSS, Java/C# and RDBMS such as My SQL / MS SQL server / Oracle, Snowflake, Node.js in a cloud environment such as AWS / Azure.
Understand existing applications / products by reading the code and enhance them per requirements and should be able lead and craft solutions, design and develop API’s independently.
Implement and follow software development best practices and standards.
Maintain the functional areas of data management, monitor end-user usage and security and ensure data integrity across all systems
Implement feature sets in Salesforce using standard and custom objects, workflows, triggers, user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, email alerts and templates, and campaigns.
Develop and maintain Visualforce, Apex, and Integration tools to other third-party solutions
Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades for optimal performance
Identify usage and data problems and craft technical / communication plans to remedy.
Support and train new end users on the applications
Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues
Who You Will Work With:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Leads, and other Engineers on a regular basis. Frequent interaction with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure consistent system usage and high-quality support.
Must Have’s:
BS in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent required, MS in Computer Science/Engineering a plus
5+ years of Salesforce Administration and Developer experience; Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g. Platform Developer I/II, Platform App Builder)
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience with OOP Programming (Java / C#), Javascript, REST / SOAP based services and RDBMS such as MS SQL server, My SQL / Oracle.
Must have a prior experience of data platform / data warehouse such as Snowflake, Node.js in and must have worked in cloud environments such as AWS / Azure.
Expertise in Salesforce development including SDLC best practices, standard and custom objects, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript Mobile Frameworks, Platform Events and Salesforce Mobile SDK
Proficient with Unix Tools, shell scripting (Bash, Perl, Python, etc.), SQL queries, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader or equivalent
Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation, and load (ETL) tools is desired.
The successful candidate will have strong technical, analytical, time management, training, and presentations skills
Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities effectively to meet deadlines
Ability to recognize problems, gather data, draw valid conclusions, and effectively present information to managers, peers, and customers
Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people, strong communication skills, both written and oral
Nice to Have’s:
Experience with Retool is a plus. Ability to design solutions involving a wide variety of systems and technologies.
Experience with Heroku is a plus

Compensation Range of
Annual Salary: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00(Depending on experience, skill set, qualifications, and other relevant factors.)
