Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Rust

Job Summary:
WitnessAI is a fast-growing SaaS startup on a mission to enable enterprises to adopt AI, safely. We're building a product that provides security and governance guardrails for public and private LLMs. We are looking for a Senior SWE to join our Network Security team to assist in building a revolutionary security product.
Qualifications:
Expertise in Rust and have a high degree of comfort with advanced concepts (async programming, real time data processing pipelines, efficient memory management).
Experience in network software development with strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, Websockets, JSON, etc).
Protocol/low level knowledge of TLS, Key Management and Network Security technologies (DLP, VPN, SIEM)
Experience with high-traffic infrastructure, including proficiency with monitoring (service-specific metrics, logs, and traces), unix network debugging, and proactively addressing performance and reliability concerns.
Experience with packet inspection tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, tshark to gain insights into network traffic.
Experience with Golang and its ecosystem. Preferably in cloud-native development.
