About the Job

As an Integration Engineer specialising in Cosmos ecosystem, you will play a critical role in bringing Babylon to the Cosmos ecosystem. This involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing integrations for seamless interoperability between Babylon and other Cosmos-based chains. You'll work closely with core protocol engineers to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable integrations that leverage the power of CosmWasm.

About You

You are a software engineer with a strong foundation in blockchain technology, particularly within the Cosmos ecosystem. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about driving innovation in the decentralized space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain CosmWasm/Ethereum smart contracts for integration with the Babylon protocol.

  • Design integration solutions for performance, security, and reliability.

  • Collaborate with core protocol engineers to identify and resolve integration challenges.

  • Contribute to the development of Babylon's toolings/SDKs for Cosmos/Ethereum ecosystem.

  • Keep track of with the latest developments in the Cosmos/Ethereum ecosystems and technology.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in blockchain development in Go and/or Rust.

  • Deep understanding of Ethereum & Cosmos SDK and CometBFT consensus, IBC, CosmWasm.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other blockchain ecosystems (e.g., Solana).

  • Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.

  • Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and the staking ecosystem.
