As a Senior Software Engineer on our Conjur Secrets Manager Enterprise product, Secrets Vault and Privilege Engine that developers, security administrators, and DevOps professionals worldwide use to secure cloud/native applications and dev ops environments. you'll play a key role in securing cloud-native apps, DevOps pipelines, and distributed environments used by the world’s largest organizations.

What You’ll Do:
Design and build the backbone of secure infrastructure—our secrets management platform trusted by Fortune 500s.
Engineer with impact: Coding - Containers - Container Orchestration
Develop high-performance, scalable systems using Golang, Ruby, and Python.
Work with the modern stack: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Terraform, Helm, Rancher, and more.
Automate everything: Deliver tools and infrastructure that remove manual work and reduce risk.
Deliver open source: Contribute to and create tools used by the developer and security communities.

QualificationsWhat you bring:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in Golang, Ruby, Python, PostgreSQL or similar languages
Experience with containers and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet)
A product mindset: You care as much about user experience and quality as you do about clean code
Passion for automation, security, and building tools that others rely on every day
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and strong interpersonal skills required

The Senior Software Engineer plays a strategic technology role in developing CyberArk’s Conjur Secrets Manager Enterprise product, a secrets vault and privilege engine that developers, security administrators, and DevOps professionals worldwide use to secure cloud/native applications and dev ops environments.

Our engineers work on a wide variety of security-centric software development projects, using exciting tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, Golang, Helm, Rancher, AWS, and more. Conjur engineers work in a Scaled Agile, highly collaborative, rapid paced team environment as they design, prototype, and implement core features while ensuring the reliability, security, efficiency and maintainability of our enterprise offering. In addition, we deliver high-quality open source software and integrations with popular development and DevOps tools to CyberArk’s customers.
How will you stand out from the crowd
· 5+ years of experience as a software developer preferred
· Proficiency in Ruby / Python, Rails, Golang, and PostgreSQL is beneficial
· Deep understanding/experience with container technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, Rancher, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry
· Experience using AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
· Familiarity with DevOps tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, Terraform

The salary range for this position is $119,000 – $165,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
