About the role

AgelessRx’s Senior Software Engineer, Care & Operations will play a key role in the Engineering vertical by designing, building, and maintaining high-quality software systems that support both patient care delivery and customer acquisition. Moreover, as part of this role, you will ensure that our applications are scalable, reliable, and secure when serving our providers and current and potential customers. Additionally, this position will contribute to the development of our system architecture, participate in code reviews, and manage the full development life cycle, including deployment, monitoring, and incident response. 

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering scalable, secure software solutions collaborating cross-functionally, and continuously improving technical and operational processes to support a best-in-class telehealth experience. 

What you'll do

  • Create and maintain systems for approving prescriptions, processing prescriptions, integrating labs, and communicating with patients and providers   
  • Optimize acquisition features such as onboarding flows, eligibility screening, product selection, and order submission to increase patient conversions   
  • Collaborate with Product, Growth, Clinical, and Design teams to define requirements, implement A/B tests, and continually improve patient and provider experiences   
  • Develop robust, high-performance code and implement tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting in order to ensure system scalability and reliability   
  • Own the end-to-end development and operations, including deployment pipelines, cloud infrastructure management, and on-call support for production systems   
  • Streamline internal tools and back-office workflows used by clinical operations, and customer experience teams to enhance care delivery and operational efficiency 
  • Proactively identify, debug, and resolve production issues, using data and observation tools to drive root cause analysis and permanent fixes.   
  • Adhere to healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA, FHIR, and security best practices to ensure patient data privacy and regulatory alignment   
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in code reviews, sharing knowledge, and staying current with modern frameworks, tools, and development trends 

What you'll bring

  • Minimum of 5 years' proven experience as a full stack developer  
  • Proficiency with .NET, ASP.NET/MVC, JavaScript, C#  
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs, React, ORMs, Azure cloud services, and Git 
  • A working knowledge of design patterns, particularly CQRS  
  • Strong understanding of Agile software development methodology  
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Ability to work independently and in a team  
  • Strong organizational and time management skills  
  • Previous experience in a senior or lead software engineering role
