Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer Backend in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Build features, design and implement API methods, and improve the performance and reliability of our systems. Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend, and Frontend Engineers to conceptualize and build new features for the user base. Produce high-quality results by contributing heavily to team projects that have a significant impact on the business. Actively own team features or systems and define their long-term health, while also improving the health of surrounding systems. Assist skilled support team and operations team in triaging and resolving production issues. Mentor other engineers and deeply review code. Improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes Telecommuting is an option.

 Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Programming languages- PHP or Hack, Java, Python, Ruby or Go or C; (2) MySQL; (3) Linux; (4) Data Structures; (5) Algorithms; (6) Distributed Systems; (7) Information Retrieval; (8) Git; (9) Technical Architecture and (10) ELK Stack. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. 

Salary: $180,960.00 - $276,100.00 per annum.
