Job Description:

The Role

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will blend deep scrum expertise with a passion for mentoring, coaching and constant improvement. As part of a highly collaborative team, you will advise, mentor, coach, and train on performance against agile values, practices, and processes to accelerate team value delivery. In partnership with the Squad Leader, you will maintain a backlog, help to remove impediments, and facilitate agile events such as the daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives. You will participate in scaling activities as you manage interdependencies across teams. You will examine and improve team performance through metrics and find opportunities with the team to fully realize the benefits of working in an agile structure.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 4 years of hands-on experience as a scrum master

  • Jira and Jira Align experience required

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Certified Scrum Master preferred.

  • Demonstrated expertise in application of Agile/Scrum Principles to help accelerate value delivery.

  • Excellent communication and people-interaction skills and can rapidly build trust and positively influence others at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach.

  • Quality Execution – attention to detail with unwavering dedication to quality

  • Partnerships - develop positive relationships and champion a collaborative team environment

  • Leadership – demonstrated expertise of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues without formal authority with a track record of building engaged and empowered teams

The base salary range for this position is $85,000-171,000 USD per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
