We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Scientist in the field of Antibody Discovery, NGS and Molecular Biology to lead innovative research and development initiatives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in antibody discovery by utilizing single B-cell techniques, NGS, bioinformatics, and apply molecular biology processes for antibody generation. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic biotech environment focused on cutting-edge antibody technologies. The role may involve both computational analyses and laboratory-based work, requiring adaptability and a strong commitment to scientific excellence.

Main Responsibilities

  • Antibody discovery: The scientist will utilize 10X and Single B-cell cloning methods, combined with NGS to discover antibodies for therapeutic targets.

  • Molecular biology: The scientist will contribute to innovation in molecular biology of antibody cloning, expression, and generation of NGS libraries.

  • Data analysis: The scientist will utilize advanced bioinformatics tools and techniques to analyze large NGS datasets, including V-genes, and B-cell transcriptomic for antibody discovery and development. The ability to use antibody sequence data and associated properties to train predictive and generative ML-models will be considered as a plus.

  • Data integration: Integrate diverse biological data for clone selection from early to late-stage antibody discovery. In-charge of maintaining data in the respective databases and accessibility during requirement.

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior scientists in data analysis and molecular biology.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the immunologists, protein engineers, and molecular biologists to translate bioinformatics findings into actionable insights for therapeutic development. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

  • Communication: Present research findings clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders and at scientific conferences. Prepare detailed reports and publications.

 

 

About You

Preferred qualifications

  • Education: Ph.D. in molecular biology, immunology, bioinformatics, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in antibody research or bioinformatics within an academic or industrial setting.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in antibody discovery techniques and therapeutic development processes.

  • Experience with bioinformatics tools for sequence analysis, structural modeling, and machine learning applications.

  • Knowledge in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis will be a plus.

  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

The salary range for this position is:

$100,500.00 - $145,166.66

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
