Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations, including architecture, solution design, and deployment
Act as the primary subject matter expert for Marketing Cloud across client engagements and internal initiatives
Design and build complex, scalable customer journeys using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder
Develop and optimize multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, push, etc.) with a focus on personalization and performance
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and marketing requirements into technical solutions
Establish data models, segmentation strategies, and integrations with CRM and external data sources
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards, particularly within health/pharma contexts
Provide strategic guidance on marketing technology, campaign optimization, and customer engagement best practices
Troubleshoot technical issues and continuously improve platform performance and campaign effectiveness
Requirements:
5–8+ years of experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud in a consulting or client-facing role, with experience leading implementations and managing stakeholder relationships
Proven expertise across core Marketing Cloud modules (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder)
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement Consultant certification
Strong understanding of data architecture, segmentation, and integrations (APIs, SQL, data extensions)
Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industries strongly preferred
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, CASL) is highly desirable
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate in a new, evolving capability within a growing organization
