Reporting to the Head of Sales & CS Operations, the Senior Sales Operations Analyst will be a strategic partner to sales leadership, taking ownership of sales forecasting, pipeline health, and process optimization. This remote role is part of the Sales Operations team and plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and operational excellence.
What you'll be doing:
- Own and continuously improve our pipeline reporting and forecasting partnering closely with sales leadership (BDR, Strategic Alliances, Channel Partnerships, Public Sector Sales) to ensure accuracy and insight.
- Analyze pipeline health and implement strategies to maintain high-quality opportunities across the funnel.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into sales performance, pipeline metrics, and business trends.
- Lead and execute cross-functional projects that enhance sales processes, tooling, and data integrity.
- Act as a subject matter expert in Salesforce, collaborating with admins and enabling the sales team with efficient processes and system enhancements.
- Standardize reporting and analytics to support internal business reviews, leadership updates, and strategic planning.
- Provide proactive insights and recommendations to optimize territory planning, quota setting, and incentive design.
What success looks like in this role:
- Forecast accuracy maintained within ±5% across quarters
- 90%+ of pipeline consistently meeting hygiene standards (stage, close date, value accuracy)
- Sales team satisfaction score of 4.5+ for analytics and reporting tools
- Delivery of 2+ strategic analytics projects per quarter
- Reporting tools adopted and used consistently by 90%+ of sales leadership
What you'll bring:
Required:
- 3–5 years of experience in sales operations or business operations, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment
- Proven track record of partnering with sales leadership to deliver strategic insights and improve forecasting accuracy
- Deep understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and funnel metrics
- Proficiency in Salesforce with 2+ years of hands-on reporting/dashboard experience; CRM Analytics a plus
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Pivot Tables, Data connections)
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
The target base salary range for this position is $106,400 - $138,400, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
