Key Qualities of a successful GridUnity professional:
Intellectual Curiosity
Whether you're crafting messaging, running onboarding, closing a deal, or supporting a client post-go-live, you ask the deeper questions. Curiosity is core to how we operate: learning the customer’s business, understanding our platform’s full potential, and constantly improving how we grow, serve, and support. Curiosity fuels collaboration across every function on our growth team.
Natural Problem Solving
Every member of the team solves problems—from aligning internal stakeholders to unblocking a project or simplifying a complex customer ask. You anticipate challenges, propose thoughtful solutions, and take ownership. Whether you're refining a campaign, configuring a workflow, or reworking a delivery plan, you’re energized by ambiguity and driven to resolve it.
Subject Matter Expertise in the Energy Industry
We serve utilities, transmission providers, system operators, and regulators. To deliver value, every role on the team—sales, marketing, CS, support, and services—needs foundational knowledge of how the grid works. You don’t need to be a power engineer, but you should know the landscape: interconnection, planning, policy drivers, and the evolving stakeholder ecosystem.
SaaS Experience
From product marketing to onboarding to renewals, SaaS success depends on alignment across the entire customer lifecycle. You’ve worked with cloud platforms and understand how recurring value, user experience, and cross-functional delivery all drive retention and growth. Whether you're managing leads, accounts, or active deployments, you get the rhythm of modern SaaS.
Proven Organizational Skills
Our work spans long sales cycles, multi-phase implementations, ongoing support, and strategic account growth. You keep the threads clear, handoffs clean, and communication tight. You're experienced working across sales, marketing, customer success, support, and professional services—and you know how to bring people together to deliver consistent, end-to-end excellence.
Communication & Collaboration
We operate as a tightly aligned team across sales, marketing, customer success, support, and services. Clear, proactive communication is how we ensure no thread gets dropped and no customer is left guessing. Collaboration is more than coordination
It’s how we combine perspectives, share context, and co-create solutions that deliver consistent value. You know when to lean in, when to listen, and how to keep both teammates and customers informed and confident.
You’re skilled at communicating asynchronously. Writing with clarity, documenting decisions, and sharing updates in ways that keep work moving forward across time zones and schedules.
OUR CULTURE
We are a lean, fast-moving team that values bold thinking, reliability, and continuous learning. We operate with radical transparency, embrace scrappiness, and build solutions that anticipate customer needs. We also believe work should be fun and fulfilling — what we call “funfillment.”
The right candidate is energized by working in a scaling, mission-driven company where they can shape processes, wear multiple hats, and grow alongside the business.

Remote-first culture that provides flexibility and balance
Professional development opportunities, including training, mentorship, and career pathing
