Position Summary
This position is responsible for delivering compelling product demonstrations and providing essential technical insights throughout the sales process. The Senior Sales Engineer translates customer requirements into appropriately sized solutions, builds impactful demonstration environments, and explores the diverse possibilities of our products.
What You Will Do
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Conduct Pre-Sales Technical Demonstrations:
Present the functionality and features of our SearchStax products through engaging and informative demonstrations.
Customize presentations to address specific customer needs and pain points.
Build Compelling Demos and Proof of Concepts:
Create impactful demos and proof of concepts that highlight the value proposition of our solutions.
Collaborate closely with product teams to stay abreast of the latest features and enhancements.
Provide Technical Insight and Guidance:
Serve as a technical expert, providing valuable insights and guidance to the sales team.
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of product capabilities.
Assist Prospects in Utilizing SearchStax Products:
Collaborate with prospects to comprehend their unique use cases and challenges.
Offer strategic guidance on how SearchStax products can optimally meet the specific needs of the prospect.
Size and Estimate Customer Proposals:
Analyze customer requirements to accurately size and estimate Customer proposals.
Work collaboratively with sales and product teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product capabilities.
What You Must Have
Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience as a sales engineer for a SaaS-based product company.
Preferred: Search expertise with AI related models (query suggestions, generative AI, etc.)
Experience in gathering requirements and discovery based on value based selling.
Familiarity with leading DXP/CMS platforms such as Acquia, Sitecore etc.
Self-driven learner with the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and platforms.
Capable of technically presenting and demonstrating technology platforms.
Comfortable presenting to both non-technical and technical audiences.
Willing to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: This position offers a base salary range of $160,000 to $190,000 annually, with an additional incentive compensation. Compensation package offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
Salary Structure: Our salary ranges are determined by market analysis and are designed to evolve with job performance over time.
Additional Benefits: Beyond base salaries, SearchStax employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, with potential for equity and performance-based bonuses.
