Hootsuite is looking for a dynamic Senior Sales Content Strategist to create, optimize and distribute high-quality, high-impact and engaging B2B content across multiple platforms. In this role, you’ll oversee content governance, performance analysis, and internal social selling initiatives to amplify brand awareness, reach, and engagement. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple content-related projects and act as a bridge between our Creative, Strategy, and Revenue Enablement teams. In this role, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders and leaders across our global revenue and marketing teams to ideate and execute world-class B2B content that builds a distinctive brand and drives revenue. This is a remote-first role and is open to applicants located within the USA in states where we comply with our legal hiring entities. In this role, you will report to the Manager, Content.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Oversee internal social selling initiatives across the global revenue organization, amplifying seller voices across key social platforms to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Contribute to the development and lead the implementation of a sales content strategy aligned with brand objectives, customer insights and broader marketing goals. Develop, manage, and execute an overarching sales email strategy.
  • Plan, create, and produce innovative content that resonates with B2B audiences, including creative concepts for cross-channel marketing campaigns, email copy, scripts, and paid social ads in collaboration with our Content, Design, Video and Social teams
  • Provide scriptwriting oversight and support for social, sales videos, and paid media campaigns.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including senior leaders across global revenue and marketing to plan, develop and deliver compelling sales-focused content that drives revenue growth.
  • Regularly analyze performance data to understand content engagement and effectiveness, and optimize future content, increase reach, and achieve marketing goals accordingly. Keep senior marketing leaders informed on progress and strategies.
  • Actively engage with senior leaders and key stakeholders to understand content needs. Monitor, analyze and report content performance using analytical tools. Identify gaps and recommend changes to improve engagement based on strategic business needs.
  • Design and implement processes and governance for content creation, optimization and management - driving revenue growth in close partnership with Sales Operations and Enablement teams.
  • Stay informed on LinkedIn and B2B marketing trends and leverage those insights,  turning strategic briefs into innovative creative projects across social, webinars, sales enablement, and thought leadership.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Significant relevant creative and/or content experience - including proven experience in a lead role, ideally within a B2B SaaS or digital marketing environment
  • Strong copywriting and scriptwriting skills, with experience crafting impactful messaging for social media and video content.
  • Hands-on experience with video production, editing, and storytelling including the use of AI.
  • Deep understanding of social selling and personal branding strategies.
  • Strong understanding of how to create and position content that resonates with both prospective and existing customers, focusing on delivering value and actionable insights.
  • Excellent collaboration and project management skills.
  • Accountability: holds self and others accountable to meet commitments
  • Business Acumen: has an ability to see the big picture and understands the business implications of opportunities and decisions
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: works with others to deliver results, meaningfully contributing to the team and prioritizing team needs over individual needs
  • Creativity and Innovation: seeks new and better ways of doing things, generates original and imaginative ideas, products, or solutions
  • Influence: Asserts own ideas and persuades others, gaining support and commitment and mobilizing people to take action

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Solution seeker: You’re focused on tackling new challenges, solving problems, and moving the business forward—and you don’t wait to be asked.
  • Lifelong learner: You have a growth mindset – you’re here to learn, experiment, seek, apply, and provide feedback, share what works with your team, and move on from what doesn’t.
  • Resilient adapter: In the face of change and challenges, you bring a thoughtful, calm approach, and a focus on finding the new opportunity.
  • Intentional collaborator. You build positive working relationships across the business, bringing people together to foster new opportunities and to facilitate the efficient flow of information.
  • Critical challenger: You have the trust in your team to ask difficult questions in order to get to the best end result.
  • Active communicator: You listen actively and communicate ideas and information clearly, inclusively, and proactively.
  • Integrated thinker: You look beyond your role and responsibilities to understand how your team’s work drives broader organizational goals.
  • Accountable owner: You take pride in the work you’re responsible for with a mindset of ultimate accountability and reliability for the outcomes.
  • Bar-raiser: You step up to help your team grow and succeed, even when that means going beyond what might be expected.

In all we do, our six guiding principles light the way:

Step Up: Dare to go beyond the expected to achieve greatness. #StepUp

Play to Win: Commit to building an incredible, profitable company for our customers, our employees, and our stakeholders. #PlayToWin #NoExcuses

Neighbours & Allies: Give back to our communities and be an ally. #SocialForGood #Allies
