What will I be doing?
- Create and enhance RESTful, WebSocket, and MQTT based APIs using Rust
- Use Rust to integrate with 3rd party services and devices
- Follow and evolve Rust development best practices
- Fly drones to test and validate your API changes and integrations
Would I be a good match for this postion?
- Must have 4+ years experience with Rust
- At least 5+ years building customer/partner facing APIs
- Experience with some or all of the following: Async Rust, Tokio, Axum, Tungstenite, and WebSockets
- Experience with mTLS, API Keys, or other connection authentication approaches
- Ability to work well within a team but on individual projects
- Excited to work with drones, robotics and first responders
- Currently live and have authorization to work in the United States without need for a visa sponsorship, now or in the future
