SUMMARY

MARA is seeking a detail-oriented and compliance-focused Senior Revenue and Systems Analyst to lead the company’s financial systems integrity with an emphasis on SOX compliance and internal controls. This role will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely revenue reporting, enhancing the financial control environment, and driving systems alignment to meet regulatory and audit requirements. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in public company compliance, financial systems integration, and risk-based process improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

SOX Compliance and Internal Controls:

- Serve as the primary owner within the MIS department of revenue-related SOX controls and compliance documentation, ensuring that all key controls are properly designed, implemented, and tested. - Develop and enhance policies, procedures, and documentation supporting internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), particularly in revenue and systems areas. - Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support walkthroughs, control testing, and remediation activities. - Monitor control deficiencies and work cross-functionally to develop and execute remediation plans in a timely manner.

Financial Systems and Reporting Controls:

- Oversee the governance, change management, and internal control structure of financial systems including ERP (e.g., NetSuite), billing platforms, and data warehouses. - Lead system compliance initiatives to ensure alignment with SOX and internal control requirements and integration of automated controls wherever possible.

Risk Management & Audit Support:

- Identify and assess financial reporting risks associated with revenue, billing, and system integrations. - Manage periodic risk assessments, materiality thresholds, and scoping related to SOX compliance. - Act as the key point of contact for internal audit, external audit, and compliance teams for all matters related to financial systems and revenue controls.

Strategic Alignment:

- Drive alignment between Finance, Accounting, IT, and Operations to ensure revenue systems support accurate financial reporting and meet evolving compliance needs. - Evaluate new business models, product offerings, or operational changes for impact on revenue controls and compliance requirements. - Lead projects focused on process standardization, automation of control activities, and control efficiency optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. · Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.

· 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, with experience in cryptocurrency, blockchain, technology, or energy sectors preferred.

· Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI. Familiarity with cryptocurrency mining software and blockchain analysis tools is an advantage.

· Understanding of Bitcoin mining economics, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrency market trends.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of creating actionable insights from complex financial and operational data.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex financial data in a clear, concise manner.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications. Ability to draft reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
