The Release Operations role directly supports this through assurance of consistent alignment of stakeholders' expectations into the release of features that further this mission, as well as acting as additional assurance and coordination of our quality and compliance obligations.

Success in this role will be measured against the following objectives:

  • Measurable improvement and maintained consistency in our validation and signoff for release of new capabilities into production usage

  • Consistent alignment and assurance of stakeholders’ readiness to sell, service, and support new released features

What you’ll do…

  • Development of release/change management practice function including coordinated design with SDLC/PDLC stakeholders and process education to release participants

  • Participates in Change Advisory activities to ensure release coordination needs are satisfied/known by impacted delivery teams and stakeholders

  • Leads and coordinates release Go/No-Go signoff and readiness review activities, including development of release notes and asset versioning

  • Coordination of release schedule and attendees / escalation contact readiness for release event activities

  • Coordination of launch notifications to distributed internal & external stakeholders, with change window coordination for potential user acceptance testing activities

  • Ensures that post-launch validation functions are completed with delivery team stakeholders and incorporates

About you…

  • 5+ years working in a relevant release / change management function in a moderate-to-large software delivery environment

  • Experience in healthcare software product development and release & compliance considerations is a must

  • Familiarity in source control management models, git-based peer review processes and approvals, and general CI/CD processes

  • Experience in Change Risk Management models as applied to enacting Go/No-Go decisions and change exception and validation methods

  • Proven experience working in a cross-disciplinary role with responsibilities for communication & coordination across multiple organizations/teams including non-engineering groups (client success, operations, etc.)

  • Experience in influencing and adapting software development processes to release management needs with specific emphasis on quality assurance, DevOps/cloud engineering, and various software engineering discipline domains (web/mobile, data, APIs, etc.)

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $135,000 - $145,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
