About Push Security

Push Security is redefining Identity Security by empowering organizations to secure their workforce and stop modern identity and phishing attacks through visibility, control, and collaboration. As organizations rapidly adopt cloud and SaaS tools, traditional security solutions struggle to keep up. Push enables security teams to address modern threats with user-focused, automation-driven tools that integrate seamlessly into existing environments.

We’re growing our people team here at Push and looking for an exceptional and ambitious Senior Recruiter to own all hiring activity across North America and the UK.

This role is heavy on operational recruitment, but will also include improving processes, writing reusable interview guides and skill assessment grids, as well as weighing in on choice of recruiting tools and tech.

The right candidate will also keenly understand that recruitment is one tool in the broader People strategy. Candidates who are interested in what happens before and after hiring (i.e employer brand as well as people & performance topics) will be well-received.

We work fully remotely at Push but for timezone purposes (and ability to work closely with our VP of People) we are prioritising candidates in the New York metro area for this role in the first instance.

Who you are:

  • You’ve done this before - given our speed of growth, this role isn’t suited to someone who is looking for their first recruiting role
  • You’ve worked in early stage (pre-series C) startups before - you know the only constant is change
  • You have excellent taste and know what great looks like
  • You’re opinionated but flexible
  • You’re pragmatic, get stuff done and practise extreme ownership
  • Candidates love you, hiring managers want to work with you
  • You’re just as happy spending an afternoon sourcing as an afternoon in back-to-back interviews
  • You’re well-networked across the US especially in technical B2B enterprise sales
  • You’re as comfortable hiring sales people as you are software engineers
  • You’re ambitious and looking to accelerate your career

Why Push?

-> Work with a passionate, mission-driven team building the future of SaaS security.
-> Flexible, remote-first work environment.
-> Competitive compensation and equity package.
-> Opportunities for growth in a fast-scaling startup.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
