The Sr. Recruiter supports the firm’s continued growth and ongoing recruiting initiatives. This position is responsible for identifying, coordinating, and engaging staff‑level candidates across all offices and practice areas that fall under the Industries and Special Practices (“ISP”) community. The role offers the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, high‑autonomy environment, delivering a structured, end‑to‑end recruiting process that attracts top talent and ensures a consistent, high‑quality experience for both hiring leaders and candidates.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead all phases of the recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, screening resumes, conducting phone screens of more senior candidates, managing candidate submittals to hiring managers and teams, managing the full offer approval and offer letter process, extending offers, and dispositioning candidates.
  • Implement recruiting strategies designed to identify and source qualified candidates through various recruiting tools.
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system (Workday) to document and track recruiting activities.
  • Coordinate and communicate with various BRG hiring managers about their recruiting needs.
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, such as current consulting staff and hiring managers, as well as external stakeholders, such as candidates, educational institutions and job boards.
  • Collaborate across all ISP practice areas and offices to reinforce and maintain a consistent BRG brand and value proposition in the market.
  • Partner closely with other Recruiting team members, as well as community and practice leadership and operations staff to develop ISP community recruiting processes and procedures to ensure all needs are being met, and consistent processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date recruiting reports and tracking spreadsheets for hiring managers and leadership, coordinating with other recruiters as needed.
  • Partner with and delegate appropriate recruiting tasks to the Recruiting Coordinator to support overall recruiting operations, such as:
    • The opening and closing of job requisitions and job postings to attract qualified candidates;
    • Conducting phone screens for more junior candidates who apply to job requisitions;
    • Reviewing resumes of candidates who apply to job requisitions to evaluate candidates’ qualifications and strengths compared with job requirements;
    • Communicating with candidates and coordinating logistics of interviews with BRG staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, ideally within a consulting, professional services, or similarly fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage candidates and partners with internal stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Hands‑on experience with applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday.
  • Demonstrated success using creative sourcing strategies and tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms to attract diverse, high‑quality talent.
  • Strong interest in understanding BRG’s service offerings and the qualifications required for success across the firm.
  • Ability to stay current on market trends, industry changes, and recruiting best practices to inform sourcing and hiring strategies.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with hiring leaders and internal partners.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information and competing priorities.
  • Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑urgency environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting within a consulting, professional services, or fast‑paced, matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and manage multiple recruiting priorities
  • Strong awareness of recruiting trends, competitive talent markets, and candidate engagement best practices
  • Sourcing and Recruitment Certifications

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, and communicate effectively. The position is primarily sedentary and involves extended periods of working at a computer. The employee may occasionally need to stand, walk, or reach with hands and arms. Lifting or moving items up to 10 pounds may be required occasionally. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

This role may operate in a professional office environment or a remote/home office setting, depending on business needs and company policy. The position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and other technology tools necessary for virtual collaboration. Employees are expected to maintain a safe and productive workspace, whether onsite or remote.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000
 

Candidate must be able to submit verification of their legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
