We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer on a project with a corporation that delivers innovative IoT connected software solutions to automotive and agriculture manufacturers.

We are looking for someone with good communication skills, ideally with experience making decisions, being proactive, used to building software from scratch, and with good attention to detail.
What you will do:
- Contributing to the definition of the Test Automation architecture
- Owner of the common (test automation) framework components and API/MNO simulation systems
- Promote standardization of test automation practices across the Technical organisation
- Providing guidance and technical support on Test Automation framework use to scrum teams
- Training testers and developers on the use of test automation framework and tools
- Provide Test Automation support to the UAT team
- Evaluating and piloting the introduction of new test automation technologies, practices and approaches
- Designing and developing Common Framework components
- Source (oracle) of knowledge on test automation
- Recruitment: Evaluating test automation capabilities of potential test and software engineering candidates
- From time to time the Test Automation Analyst may be attached to scrum teams to carry out work such as setting up new frameworks and test execution pipelines
- They will also be involved in PI planning sessions as a test automation consultant and from time to time may be required to support the performance test team
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience automating API and Web application testing
- Experience with API simulation tools
- Experience designing a framework from the ground up
- Experience working with .NET/C#/Azure DevOps
- Understanding of test automation architecture
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Good understanding of the software development cycle
- Experience working in/with Agile teams
Nice to have:
- Experience working in the Mobile Telecoms industry
- ISTQB foundation level
- Experience working with no code automation tools
- Experience working with cloud computing systems such as Azure and AWS
- Performance testing experience
