Define the testing strategy, handle manual testing, build automation in Java, develop tests for APIs and backend, and integrate automation into CI/CD.
We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our International Mobile Top-Up team. The current solution is built in C++ with a planned migration to Go in 2026.
We already have a Manual QA on the team, but we need a strong engineer who can define the testing strategy, handle manual testing at the start, and then independently build automation (Java). The focus will be on API, backend, and database testing.
At IDT you will:
- Define and implement the overall testing strategy.
- Perform manual testing initially, then build and maintain automation (Java).
- Develop and execute automated tests for APIs and backend services.
- Write and run SQL queries to validate data and integrations.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
We expect you to have:
- Hands-on automation experience with Java (or С#) 2+ years.
- Hands-on manual testing experience.
- Ability to work independently and define testing approaches.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
- Experience in Agile environments.
