Senior Project Manager (Individual Contractor)
Department: Production
Reports To: Client Delivery Team Manager
Shift: Evening (aligned with US and global client time zones)

At Labrador, we're looking for a highly driven Senior Project Manager who thrives on ownership, accountability, and delivering outstanding client experiences.

You'll work directly with global clients, lead cross-functional teams, coordinate resources, and ensure every project is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do

As our Senior Project Manager, you will own the entire project lifecycle—from kickoff to final delivery—ensuring every detail is managed with precision and care.

Project Leadership & Ownership
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects from inception through final sign-off.
  • Take full ownership of project outcomes, including scope, quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and implement solutions before issues arise.
  • Manage project milestones, dependencies, and critical deliverables.
  • Ensure all project activities and decisions are properly documented.
Client Partnership
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the production phase.
  • Build trusted relationships through clear, proactive, and professional communication.
  • Guide scope discussions, project updates, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Address concerns quickly and effectively to maintain client confidence and project momentum.
  • Represent Labrador during evening hours to support our US and international clients.
Team & Resource Management
  • Coordinate and optimize both internal and outsourced resources to meet project goals.
  • Provide direction and support to Support PMs and cross-functional contributors.
  • Ensure teams have clear priorities, responsibilities, and deadlines.
  • Adapt resource allocation based on changing project needs and delivery requirements.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and excellence across project teams.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
  • Champion quality throughout every phase of production.
  • Establish quality checkpoints and ensure deliverables meet Labrador standards.
  • Review and approve final outputs before client submission.
  • Identify and address potential quality risks early in the process.
  • Promote best practices in documentation, workflow management, and operational excellence.
Escalation & Problem Solving
  • Act as the primary escalation point for project-related issues.
  • Resolve challenges quickly while minimizing impact on delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with leadership on complex operational or resource concerns.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of project decisions, escalations, and resolutions.

Project Management Expertise
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, scope control, and milestone tracking.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Skilled at prioritizing competing demands while maintaining focus on outcomes.
Exceptional Communication Skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience managing client relationships in remote or digital-first environments.
  • Confidence navigating scope discussions, change requests, and challenging conversations.
  • Experience working with US or international clients is a strong advantage.
Leadership & Accountability
  • A genuine ownership mindset—you take responsibility for results and drive solutions.
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams, freelancers, and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable making decisions, solving problems, and holding teams accountable.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and sound judgment under pressure.
Quality & Operational Excellence
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
  • Experience implementing quality assurance processes and workflow controls.
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of Workfront and other project management platforms is preferred.
