About the Role:
The Senior Project Manager reports directly to the Manager, PMO, works with global clients and teams to keep technical projects on track, updated and well understood by all team members. The position provides the opportunity to work on various projects and with multiple subject matter experts in various levels of management. The Senior Project Manager must have strong leadership, consulting and organizational background and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Establish a plan to successfully deliver projects and meet operational expectations, including management of tasks, deliverables, risks, resources, and issues
- Schedule & conduct project stakeholder meetings to set and align with expectations, and solicit feedback
- Must be a self-starter and ensure projects are executed within scope, on time and on budget to meet expected project quality deliverables.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of assigned projects from initiation to closure
- Track project budgets and financials for forecasting and meeting project goals
- Collaborate with practice leaders for resource assignment and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Escalate project issues, concerns, and roadblocks to key project stakeholders and following through till resolution
- Proactively identify and manage risks and projects constraints to ensure successful and timely outcomes
- Maintain project documentation and artifacts. Review existing processes & procedures for improvement
- Apply use of project management tools and automation for report generation on the status, progress, and key metrics of the project. Publish regular project reporting to all stakeholders
- Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality of deliverables
- Demonstrate a strong customer focus and solid relationships with excellent communication to technical and business stakeholders. Follow up with client for feedback and improvement opportunities
- Adhere to Cyderes’ established project management methodologies and practices
Requirements:
- 7+ years’ work experience in Project Management for a technology company
- PMP certification considered an asset
- Remarkable customer service skills
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to write and edit clear and concise reports, meeting minutes, and documentation
- Superior organizational and data entry skills and the ability to manage numerous complex projects in parallel
- Technical certification or extensive experience in Cybersecurity considered an asset
- An interest in, and comfort with, technical concepts related to network and information security
