Job Summary

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute (HPHCI) is currently seeking a highly motivated, action-oriented, and resourceful Senior Project Coordinator to join the Division of Health Policy and Insurance Research (HPI). HPI sits within Harvard Medical School’s Department of Population Medicine (www.populationmedicine.org), and studies effects of high-cost medical care (including consumer-directed health plans and high-deductible insurance), pharmaceutical policies, health insurance innovations (such as value-based insurance designs), personalized medicine, delivery system changes, opioid policy, physician workforce distribution, behavioral interventions, and cost-quality trade-offs. Our mission is to produce rigorous evidence and build research capacity to inform policies and system innovations that improve health outcomes, especially among vulnerable populations. The diversity of HPI’s portfolio affords opportunities for team members to work on a wide-range of public health issues, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
