Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking a full-time Senior Project Controls Analyst to play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and smooth financial workflows across the organization. This work-from-home position is responsible for carrying out various day-to-day responsibilities that bridges project management and finance, supports invoicing, financial tracking, vendor management, and internal reporting. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, analytical, collaborative, and eager to improve processes while supporting cross functional teams.

​​​Responsibilities
  • Help manage financial reporting ensuring accuracy and alignment with project expectations and terms.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes by partnering with internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate billing documentation for invoicing and audit purposes.
  • Manage data scripts to enter contractor and subcontractor hours with precision; support hour migration between systems.
  • Manage accounts payable process with key subcontractors
  • Assist in the development and implementation of automation tools for process improvement related to reporting, billing and workflow.
  • Generate financial reports and analysis to support projects as needed
  • Assist with reconciling project costs, revenue, labor charges, and vendor invoices.
  • Track accounts receivable, monitor outstanding payments and reconcile accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial project controls, project accounting, or related roles.
  • Strong Excel skills for data analysis, modeling, and complex spreadsheet creation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including variance analysis and trend identification.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Customer service mindset with a positive, resourceful, and growth oriented attitude.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and billing methodologies preferred
  • Understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles preferred
