PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $128,900.00-$157,500.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $99,900.00 - $186,400.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, CA, VA, NC, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.  For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.  

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE 

You’ll take the lead on some of the most visible and complex transformation programs at BECU, driving initiatives that shape how we serve our members and operate as a business. In this role, you’ll bring clarity to complexity—aligning cross-functional teams, influencing senior leaders, and ensuring large-scale programs deliver meaningful results. Your ability to think strategically while executing with precision will directly impact our technology platforms, processes, and member experience. You’ll operate with autonomy, confidence, and curiosity—diving deep to understand challenges and turning them into opportunities for innovation and growth. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Lead Complex Programs: You’ll own and drive large-scale, cross-functional programs—ensuring alignment, momentum, and successful delivery across business and technology teams.  

  • Drive Transformation Initiatives: You’ll play a key role in advancing technology platform enhancements and enterprise-wide change efforts that modernize how we operate.  

  • Engage Executive Stakeholders: You’ll confidently communicate program updates, risks, and progress to senior leadership, tailoring your message to resonate at the executive level.  

  • Shape Strategic Direction: You’ll contribute to and influence the strategic direction of the business unit, helping prioritize initiatives that deliver the greatest impact.  

  • Optimize Processes & Performance: You’ll establish metrics, monitor performance, and continuously improve processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.  

  • Collaborate Across the Organization: You’ll partner with internal teams and external vendors to design and implement solutions that enhance both employee and member experiences.  

  • Champion Change Management: You’ll help teams navigate change, ensuring adoption and long-term success of new processes, systems, and ways of working.  

  • Ensure Compliance & Governance: You’ll maintain adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational standards.  

  • Manage Vendor Relationships: You’ll oversee vendor performance and contracts, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications  

  • B.A. or B.S. in business or equivalent work or education related experience. 

  • Minimum 7 years of functional experience managing project teams required, with a demonstrated ability to drive outcomes and keep initiatives on track and the ability to travel moderately, including occasional trips to out-of-area or statewide locations  

  • Excellent project management, effective leadership and negotiation skills. 

  • Appropriate licensing, as necessary, to be obtained in first year of tenure required 

Desired Qualifications 

  • FI experience preferred.
