PingWind is seeking a qualified Senior Program Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
Location: Remote, preferably DC/MD/VA
Required Clearance: Public Trust
Certifications: N/A
Required Education: Bachelor’s
Required Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience, experience working with Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is highly preferred
Responsibilities
• Lead and shepherd the delivery/operations for assigned program(s) and/or project(s)
• Manage cost, schedule, scope, performance, and customer satisfaction
• Own, nurture, and develop strong customer relationships that are evidenced by exceptional customer satisfaction scores
• Work with customers to grow and expand revenue streams, e.g. leveraging optional tasks and/or additional scope
• Proactively communicate with government points of contact on accomplishments, priorities, risks, and issues
• Manage, develop, and refine team resources to fit evolving program/project needs
• Manage partner/subcontractor relationships and associated subcontractor agreements
• Ensure the high-quality creation and timely delivery of required contract deliverables
• Work with PingWind leadership to build business leveraging program/project performance and accomplishments
• Implement best practices for building and growing company culture
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
• U.S. Citizenship; Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Exceptional ability to communicate with leadership, staff, and customers
• Flexible, able to adapt to different customer groups and expectations
• Expertise with IT program/project management, including managing complex, technical projects with integrated systems and processes
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
• Strong desire and ability to facilitate collaboration at a program level
• Experience working in and with cross-functional teams, preferably developing software
• Outcome-oriented approach focused on delivering value to end users backed by measurable, data-driven results
Preferred Qualifications
• Formal Agile or PM trainings and/or certifications, such as CSM or PMP
