Minimum requirements:

  • Several years of experience leading multi-team or cross-functional programs from initiation through delivery, with accountability for scope, schedule, and quality.

  • Proven experience working closely with engineering and product teams, demonstrating fluency in technical concepts, system and API dependencies, and data-driven decision making for program planning and execution.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage program-level governance, including dependency management, risk/issue tracking, stakeholder alignment, and change control across services or domains.

  • Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products or internal programs to enhance execution, visibility, or decision quality.

Preferred qualifications:

  • You have a demonstrated track record leading complex, multi-workstream IT integration or organizational transformation programs, such as converging an acquired company's technology, tooling, and operating models onto enterprise standards.

  • You have experience driving enterprise-wide business continuity management (BCM) or disaster recovery programs, including familiarity with ISO 22301 or equivalent frameworks, RTO/RPO validation, and cross-domain resiliency testing.

  • You have experience integrating AI-native products or platforms into an enterprise technology ecosystem, navigating governance, stakeholder alignment, and delivery sequencing across cross-functional teams.

  • You have a track record of managing stakeholder alignment across diverse groups, including legal, compliance, works councils, and multi-company leadership teams, in high-complexity, cross-org programs.

  • You are comfortable owning end-to-end program delivery across concurrent, interdependent programs, with the ability to set governance frameworks, delivery standards, and risk escalation paths across a portfolio.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
