The team for Toast Enterprise Solutions is looking for a Sr. Program Manager to support our growth and enable us to build in an efficient and scalable way. This role sits at the intersection of Product, UX, Engineering, Product  Marketing, Customer Success, and other key stakeholder teams.  

As the founding member of the Enterprise R&D team, you will be responsible for designing, executing, iterating on, and communicating end-to-end programs that support our product, go-to-market and sales organization. You are a creative problem solver and excellent collaborator who can partner across functional areas. You have an in-depth understanding of how product teams operate at scale through your prior experience in Enterprise SaaS, Program Management and/or Product Management. You are able to apply systems thinking, a product management mindset, and strong project management skills in order to build effective systems that scale. You will have an affinity for creating systems that can support keeping a wide array of stakeholders up to date, informed and help our product teams be more effective. You will be comfortable driving initiatives end to end as well as independently managing expectations across stakeholders. This role requires experience managing stakeholder relationships, managing escalations and customer sentiment and cross-team collaboration. 

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Program Management: Partner with the Enterprise Product leadership, Product Marketing, Restaurant Success, Sales & Solutions to manage and maintain detailed roadmap communications, manage feature requests and understand customer needs across our mid-market/enterprise business.  
  • Strategic thinking: partner with Enterprise product and Product Marketing teams to refine and manage our roadmap, including presenting trends, themes and identifying opportunities for investment, especially around ‘voice of the customer’ 
  • 0 -1 execution: Develop, execute, and manage programs. Identify stakeholders, set milestones, and manage project plans to bring programs to life.
  • Iteration: Define and measure the effectiveness of programs. Identify the right data to collect, execute measurement strategies, synthesize insights, and apply those insights to continuously improve our programs.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Build trust and strong relationships across the organization with Product teams and stakeholders. 

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, preference for experience working with Enterprise Sales, Solutions and SaaS frameworks.   
  • Demonstrated understanding of the operations of product teams, including fluency in methods like Agile and customer-driven product development.
  • Strong analytical thinker and problem solver, who always applies a customer-first approach.
  • Excels at teamwork and collaboration. You are a strong listener who can take in multiple perspectives and develop your own informed opinion.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and with a bias for action - you know how to get stuff done.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content depending on the audience. 
  • Undergraduate degree

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.

Pay Range

$127,000$203,000 USD
