The Data Platform & MLOps Organization covers a broad scope and a wide range of skill sets from cloud infrastructure design and development to data engineering and machine learning operations to support cross-functional teams like data science, sensor intelligence, business analytics amongst others. The projects we deliver require a high degree of well-coordinated cross-functional collaboration across quarters or even years. WHOOP is looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to ensure the efficient execution of these mission-critical projects. The right person for this role is a high performer who leverages relationships throughout WHOOP to see around corners and seamlessly align dependent resources despite inevitable uncertainty.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Develop and maintain a coherent program strategy to align resources across the many sub-groups of the Data Platform and MlOps org as projects move from one to the next
- Maintain a source of truth on the status, risks, blockers, and staffing for all team initiatives; update stakeholders internal and external to the team org on these as they evolve.
- Anticipate complexity and break it down to simplify and de-risk projects
- Work independently and self sufficiently to solve problems; escalating to management’s attention as needed
- Identify inefficiencies in the team and propose solutions for more streamlined processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
- You have 6+ years of experience in technical program management or a related field
- You are a skilled and versatile problem solver. You can operate in ambiguity and anticipate potential challenges
- You are an excellent communicator both in writing and speaking
- You have strong program management and Excel skills and a knack for organizing information
- You lead with and practice psychological safety
- You can rally stakeholders forward at a challenging yet sustainable pace and successfully partner with diverse technical and non technical stakeholders both internally and externally to the Data Platforms and MLOps organization.
- You listen with the intent to understand and grow, take on feedback quickly and share feedback with others to help everyone grow

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $216,000 Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.
In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package..
These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
