Senior Program Manager, Business Operations

We have an opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to join our Business Operations team in Tacoma, WA (hybrid), or fully remote in the US. In this role, you will take on the kind of work that doesn't fit neatly inside any one function — the cross-company programs that decide whether a great idea actually ships, scales, and sticks. You'll report to the Senior Director of Business Operations and partner with leaders across Infoblox to drive transformational programs end to end. This is a high-visibility seat. The programs you lead will build new capabilities and shape how Infoblox grows and operates.

You won't be doing this alone; you'll join a sharp, dynamic team that's building PMO excellence at Infoblox — and we've earned a reputation across the company for one simple reason: we drive results, not process. If you've spent time in PMOs that got bogged down in templates and action tracking, this will feel different.

This role is for you if you like untangling complicated problems. You're energized by shaping strategy, not just executing it. You believe the hardest part of transformation isn't the plan — it's aligning the people who have to deliver it. And you measure your work by the business results that follow, not the status reports along the way.

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end program delivery: Own complex, cross-functional programs from problem definition through execution, adoption, and measurable business impact
  • Shape strategy, not just execution: Partner with senior leaders to define program goals, challenge assumptions, and drive toward high-impact, innovative solutions
  • Build structured, scalable program frameworks: Establish operating cadence, governance models, KPIs, and decision-making frameworks that enable clarity and accountability
  • Orchestrate cross-functional execution: Align sponsors, stakeholders, and workstream owners across Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, IT, and Operations
  • Drive alignment across competing priorities: Ensure teams remain focused on the highest-value outcomes, connecting initiatives across the broader business
  • Anticipate and manage risk: Identify dependencies early, surface risks proactively, and drive resolution before issues impact delivery
  • Enable strong decision-making: Apply structured prioritization frameworks and guide stakeholders through ambiguity to clear, actionable outcomes
  • Lead change with both rigor and empathy: Build trust across teams, communicate clearly at all levels, and ensure solutions are adopted—not just delivered
  • Own executive communication: Develop and deliver clear, concise updates and program narratives for senior leadership audiences
  • Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve program execution, introduce best practices, and evolve how work gets done
  • Help build the PMO of the future: Contribute to defining standards, playbooks, and AI-first approaches that elevate program delivery across Infoblox

Be Prepared — What You Bring

  • Deep program leadership experience: 8+ years leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a SaaS or similarly fast-paced environment
  • Proven transformation track record: Demonstrated success driving initiatives that cut across functions and materially impact business outcomes
  • Strategic + execution mindset: Ability to operate at both the strategy level and dive deep into execution details when needed
  • Executive presence: Confidence and credibility to influence senior leaders while bringing teams along through change
  • Strong judgment in ambiguity: Ability to determine when to push for more data, when to make decisions, and when to escalate
  • Exceptional communication skills: Ability to translate across technical and business audiences and lead discussions with senior stakeholders
  • SaaS business acumen: Strong understanding of core business processes such as lead-to-cash, product lifecycle, and GTM operations
  • Data-driven and outcomes-focused: Focus on measurable business impact rather than activity tracking or status reporting
  • AI-first mindset: Hands-on use of AI tools to improve analysis, decision-making, communication, and program execution
  • Collaboration at scale: Ability to operate effectively across distributed teams and complex organizational structures

Bonus Points:

  • Experience building or evolving PMO functions or program governance models
  • Exposure to enterprise transformation initiatives or operating model redesign
  • MBA, PMP, or other advanced credentials (helpful but not required)

Be Successful — Your Path

First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors, and map the systems and stakeholders that rely on your work.

Six Months:

  • Build a deep understanding of company strategy, operating model, and current program landscape
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders across functions
  • Identify early opportunities to bring structure, clarity, and alignment to active programs

One Year:

  • Be recognized as a trusted advisor to program sponsors and senior leadership
  • Own and influence high-impact strategic initiatives across the business
  • Help shape how programs are run at Infoblox, contributing to long-term operational excellence and transformation

Belong— Your Community

Our culture thrives on inclusion, rewarding the bold ideas, curiosity, and creativity that move us forward. In a community where every voice counts, continuous learning is the norm. So, whether you code, create, sell, or care for customers, you’ll grow and belong here.

  • Learning opportunities, career-mobility programs, and leadership workshops
  • Sixteen paid volunteer hours each year, global employee resource groups, and a “No Jerks” policy that keeps collaboration healthy
  • Modern offices with EV charging, healthy snacks (and the occasional cupcake), plus hackathons, game nights, and culture celebrations
  • Charitable Giving Program supported by Company Match
  • We practice pay transparency and reward performance. Offers reflect role location, internal equity, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Base salary for this position: $130,600– $190,210 plus bonus or commission.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
