Senior Program Finance Analyst

The National Security Sector, under the Decision Advantage Solutions (DAS) Business Area and Multi-Domain Solutions (MDS), is hiring for a Senior Program Finance Analyst to provide support for multiple programs. The Senior Program Finance Analyst will possess a working knowledge of multiple contract types, tools, and processes to monitor performance and ensure policy and program compliance. Significant interaction with the MDS Finance team will be required to support the objectives of the assigned program. This position will have significant impact on the program’s operational accomplishments and will be responsible for specific processes within the program.

Primary Responsibilities:

What you’ll be doing:

• Program life-cycle activities such as project setup and maintenance, invoicing support, accruals, financial projections, subcontractor tracking, and month end close
• Reporting and variance analysis to include Revenue, Profit, Cash, Backlog, Risk and Opportunities
• Development and maintenance of Estimates at Completion (EAC)
• Significant interaction with the Program Managers, and may involve interaction with Ops/Line Management, Finance personnel, Contracts personnel, Procurement, senior technical personnel, and various other functional or support organizations
• Prepare written, verbal, and quantitative reports for customer deliverables
• Service Center Planning
• T&M profitability analysis
• Ability to work independently, or in a team environment and with various organizational level

Basic Qualifications:

• BA degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience
• Extremely high level of attention to detail
• Customer focused
• Able to work successfully in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Team Player - able to jump in where needed attitude
• Demonstrated knowledge of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Program Finance experience
• Experience with Costpoint, Cognos, Oracle Analytics, Fusion, PowerBI and other Leidos financial systems
