Job Purpose and Impact
  • The Professional, Application Data & Cloud Security job implements, oversees and partners to design security measures across development, security and operations, software as a service or platform as a service and multi-cloud environments. With limited supervision, this job maintains the integrity, confidentiality and availability of data and applications, thereby supporting the organization's overall security posture and compliance with industry standards.

Key Accountabilities
  • SECURITY FRAMEWORKS: Implements and partners to design development, security and operations tools and processes as well as multi-cloud control capabilities to improve security posture across the organization.
  • SECURITY CONTROLS: Operates and partners to design software as a service or platform as a service security controls to protect applications and data in cloud environments.
  • DATA MANAGEMENT: Oversees data lineage, data protection and flow controls to ensure secure data handling and compliance with regulations.
  • CYBERSECURITY DELIVERY: Conducts cybersecurity delivery to safeguard enterprise resource planning systems and associated data.
  • PERFORMANCE MONITORING: Conducts performance monitoring to assess security measures' effectiveness and efficiency and suggest areas for improvement.
  • DATA PRIVACY FUNCTIONS: Supports operational engagement with the data privacy function during incidents to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
  • QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTING: Performs moderately complex quality assurance testing and suggests continuous improvements to security processes and tools.
  • PERFORMANCE METRICS: Quantifies business and functional performance against objectives to ensure alignment with organizational goals and security standards.

Qualifications
  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
