TITLE: Senior Product Owner – Oracle Master Data Management

IN THIS ROLE, YOU CAN EXPECT TO….

As a Senior Product Owner, you will own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities, transforming data into a strategic asset that drives business growth, operational efficiency, and better decision-making across the organization.

You will lead the MDM product strategy, data governance framework, golden record approach, and multi-domain MDM initiatives, ensuring trusted, high-quality master data for critical business domains such as Product, Customer, and Vendor. Acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners, you will align MDM capabilities with enterprise priorities and digital transformation goals.

This role combines strategic product leadership with hands-on MDM expertise. You will oversee the end-to-end MDM product lifecycle, establish data quality and governance standards, and work with a team of architects, engineers, and analysts to deliver scalable, business-focused solutions. You will also drive best practices, influence executive stakeholders, and ensure alignment with enterprise data and technology strategies.

The ideal candidate is a strong product leader who can communicate MDM strategy at the executive level while guiding critical decisions around data governance, stewardship, match-and-merge processes, survivorship rules, and data quality management to deliver a single, trusted source of enterprise data.

By partnering closely with business leaders, IT team, and external suppliers, you will ensure that MDM capabilities not only meet technical requirements but also enable better decision-making, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and superior customer experiences across the enterprise.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Define, Configure, maintain, and govern the enterprise Oracle Master Data Management (MDM) architecture, standards, best practices, and technology roadmap.
  • Design and implement scalable MDM solutions using platforms such as Oracle MDM, PLM, PDH and CDM or similar technologies.
  • Establish and promote enterprise data governance, data quality, metadata management, and master data stewardship frameworks.
  • Architect integration solutions between MDM and enterprise platforms, including ERP, CRM, Data Warehouse, Supply Chain and Manufacturing systems.
  • Design and support the creation of golden records, survivorship rules, match-and-merge processes, and master data hierarchies.
  • Drive enterprise adoption of MDM standards, governance policies, and data management best practices.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver a unified and trusted view of customer, product, vendor, and other critical master data domains.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to MDM engineers and analysts while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Develop MDM platform support, performance, scalability, upgrade, and operational strategies to ensure long-term reliability and growth.
  • Influence strategic data initiatives by providing architectural guidance, recommendations, and roadmap planning that maximize the value of enterprise data investments.
  • Partner across business and technology organizations to maximize the value of enterprise data investments and influence senior leadership through data-driven insights, strategic recommendations, and roadmap prioritization.

Educational & Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience delivering enterprise data management solutions, including Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud Applications, and Master Data Management (MDM) platforms.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle MDM solutions, with experience in Oracle Product Data Hub (PDH), Customer Data Management (CDM), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, and end-to-end Data Lifecycle Management practices.
  • Proven experience defining and executing enterprise-wide data strategies that improve data quality, consistency, and business outcomes.
  • Experience operating in complex, global, multi-national organizations with the ability to align diverse business and technology stakeholders.
  • Strong background in Agile product delivery methodologies, including backlog management, roadmap planning, prioritization, and cross-functional team leadership.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders, data stewards, architects, engineers, and external vendors to deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and drive alignment across business and technology organizations.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
  • Experience translating complex data and technical requirements into business value, product strategies, and actionable roadmaps for executive and operational stakeholders.
