Role Overview:
At LucidLink, we're building something truly game-changing: a cloud file service that's revolutionizing how creative professionals and technical teams collaborate. As our Senior Product Marketing Manager, you won't just be marketing a product; you'll be telling the story of how we're making seamless, location-independent workflows a reality. This role is about understanding the magic behind our tech and translating that into compelling narratives that resonate with both the end-users who love our speed and the enterprise leaders who value our security and efficiency. You'll be at the forefront of connecting our innovative solution with the people who will benefit most from it.
Key Responsibilities:
Be customer facing. Meet with customers and prospects weekly through discovery, roadmap feedback, advisory calls, and field presentations. Turn live insights into messaging, pricing inputs, and product guidance.
Solutions and vertical marketing. Build industry narratives and solution plays for priority verticals in M&E and beyond. Create solution briefs, customer stories, and targeted web pages, and partner with demand gen to turn them into campaigns.
Competitive intelligence and deal support. Maintain a live view of competitors and substitutes. Publish battlecards, objection handling, and trap-setting talk tracks. Run win-loss analysis and support strategic deals with positioning and proof points.
Early seat at the table. Help shape the PMM function as the team scales - set launch frameworks, packaging and pricing guidance, and success metrics. Pilot new motions, document what works, and mentor future hires.
GTM storytelling and launches. Orchestrate end-to-end GTM for features, use cases, and solutions. Write positioning, naming, and pricing notes. Plan assets and enablement, then track impact.
Collaborate across marketing. Work closely with product, sales, sales engineering, and customer success, while partnering daily with demand gen, content, brand, design, comms, and partner marketing to plan, build, and ship.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on product marketing experience in the B2B SaaS or cloud technology space.
A proven track record of launching successful products and running impactful marketing campaigns that delivered results.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills – you know how to make even the most technical concepts engaging (without resorting to complicated diagrams unless absolutely necessary).
Experience working with technical products and a knack for translating the "how it works" into "why it matters" for different audiences.
Experience crafting marketing messages that resonate with both technical experts and business decision-makers, from individual contributors to executives.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in the world of file storage, collaboration tools, or solutions for creative workflows.
A preference for candidates located on the East Coast to make collaboration with our distributed team a little easier (because overlapping work hours can be a beautiful thing).
What we would like to see accomplished in the first 90 days:
Leading the GTM launch for a key upcoming feature or update. This includes deeply understanding the feature with Product Management, developing core messaging and positioning, outlining the GTM plan, and delivering key launch content.
Creating one new customer case study or solution brief targeting a strategic persona or industry. This involves identifying a compelling customer story or solution scenario with Sales/Customer Success, conducting necessary research, and producing a finalized written piece ready for design.
Conducting a focused competitive analysis and delivering insights for a key market segment. This includes analyzing key competitors' positioning and messaging, and providing 3-5 recommendations to refine LucidLink's differentiation in that segment.
About Our Team:
You'll be joining a crew of passionate problem-solvers who believe in the power of technology to make a real difference. We're a remote-first team, which means we value clear communication and trust. You can expect lively debates in our Slack channels about the latest marketing trends, and we're always ready to celebrate a successful campaign (and maybe share a GIF or two). We're particularly excited about the way our product is empowering both individual users and large enterprises, and we're looking for someone who shares that excitement.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Imagine the satisfaction of seeing a creative team unlock unprecedented levels of collaboration thanks to the content you crafted, or watching an enterprise deal close because your clear messaging addressed their core challenges. As our Senior Product Marketing Manager, that's the kind of impact you'll have. You'll be the voice that helps the world understand the "wow" factor of LucidLink, attracting new users who are eager for a better way to work and equipping our sales team with the insights they need to succeed with larger organizations. Your work will directly shape how LucidLink is perceived and adopted in the market.
Interview Process:
It's our goal to determine whether you're a good fit for our team, customers, and culture. We'll also give you room to ask questions so you can determine if LucidLink is right for you. The steps for this role are as follows:
Recruiter Interview - 30 min
Hiring Manager Interview - 45 min
Demand Gen Interview - 45 min
Marketing "Take Home" Assignment - 3 to 4 hours expected
