The Aqua Platform enables organizations to secure every cloud native application everywhere, from code commit to runtime. With enterprise scale that doesn’t slow development pipelines, Aqua helps customers secure their future in the cloud.

We’re looking for a dynamic and versatile Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team at Aqua. This role goes beyond traditional product marketing, it’s a hands-on, collaborative role that supports a lean, agile marketing team through content leadership, sales enablement, and go-to-market execution. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we position and communicate the value of the Aqua Platform, partnering closely with sales, product, and customer success to drive impact across the funnel.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the variety and ownership that comes with a smaller team, and who is excited to help shape how we bring our products to market in a time of growth and transformation.

This is a remote opportunity based on the East Coast US, and reports to the Director of Product Marketing.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Sales Enablement: Build and maintain sales enablement materials that help sellers win including pitch decks, competitive battlecards, one-pagers, and product training content. Act as a strategic partner to sales and sales enablement teams.
  • Product Messaging and Positioning: Craft compelling, differentiated messaging that clearly communicates our value to both technical and business audiences. Ensure messaging is consistent across all internal and external channels.
  • Content Strategy and Development: Drive the development of high-impact content including solution briefs, web copy, blogs, whitepapers, and customer-facing presentations that support awareness, demand, and sales conversations.
  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Own go-to-market plans for product launches and feature releases. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness across sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, sales, customer success, and field marketing to ensure alignment on key initiatives and content needs.
  • Webinars and Events: Represent Aqua as a subject matter expert in customer-facing events, internal enablement sessions, and industry webinars.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
