About the Role: 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager with deep expertise in marketing healthcare data and technology products to U.S. healthcare payers, to join the Abacus team. This role requires a strategic marketer with omni-channel marketing experience and a data-driven mindset to drive product adoption and market differentiation. You will own development of content strategy, oversee and execute go-to-market strategies, create compelling messaging, and enable sales teams with insights and materials to engage payer decision-makers effectively. 

You will:

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with product, sales, and client teams to understand critical needs and prioritize across the following responsibilities to maximize impact of product marketing 

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new and existing products 
  • Coordinate with product, sales, and marketing teams for successful execution. 

 Omni-channel Marketing Execution

  • Plan and optimize integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, events, and sales enablement to maximize engagement.   

Product Positioning and Messaging

  • Craft compelling, evidence-based value propositions that resonate with payer executives, business and IT teams 
  • Ensure consistency across all marketing channels and sales materials. 

 Content and Collateral Development

  • Create targeted sales enablement materials, thought leadership content, white papers, and case studies that drive demand and lead conversion 
  • Manage content development process and workflow for thought leadership content and marketing campaigns
  • Oversee marketing campaigns and schedules  

 Market Research and Competitive Intelligence 

  • Analyze payer market trends, customer pain points, and competitor positioning to refine marketing strategies
  • Equip sales and client success teams with information and educational tools to counter competitive threats. 

 Performance Tracking and Reporting 

  • Establish, monitor, and report on product marketing KPIs.
  • Optimize product marketing strategies based on data-driven insights. 

Must-Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience marketing healthcare data, technology (cloud-based solutions), and/or analytics products to US healthcare payers (B2B)
  • 5+ years omni-channel marketing experience including digital, content, and event marketing
  • Proven ability to craft compelling B2B marketing messaging and execute targeted campaigns
  • Deep understanding of US healthcare payers including needs, challenges, markets, and regulatory environment in at least two of the following areas: interoperability, risk adjustment, financial performance and program ROI, provider data management, utilization/care/population health management.
  • Proficiency with design tools and digital marketing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to drive action. 

Nice-to-Have: 

  • Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics)
  • Familiarity with data product types and use cases including data product categories (e.g., data management, data platforms, analytics tools, data visualization solutions, etc.) and how they are used by US healthcare payers
  • Understanding of data product development lifecycle and key data engineering and pipeline concepts (e.g. ingestion, processing, storage, etc.)
  • Interest in using AI to enhance marketing automation efficiency
  • Experience managing/coaching a team of junior product marketing managers
